This is a view of the landscape below Radicofani, a hill town in Tuscany topped by a fortress that for centuries commanded a spectacular view of all the surrounding valley and across to Monte Amiata, an extinct volcano. Radicofani is on the route between Siena and Rome, well worth a stop.
